New Years Eve Was A Fog!!!

Not Surprising To Those Whom Know Me That I Would Say "New Years Eve Was A Fog".  Seriously It Was A Fog - Lotta Fog & Lotta Fun.
  It Turned Out Nothing Like It Was Supposed To & Exactly Like It Should Have.  Funny How Things Happen Like That!
So it started like this.

VISIBILITY = POOR TO NONE

CONDENSATION = HIGHLY SATURATED

By now it has probably occurred to you that I spent New Years Eve on a sailboat somewhere 'bouts the back channels of the Gulf of Mexico.  But don't hate me "cause I got friends in LOW places where the whiskey drowns and the beer chases the blues away" - 'Cause I will always be okay with friends like these...

NEW YEARS EVE PLAN:
Two sailboats of friends would leave early in the afternoon (2:00 PM to be exact) sail to the Wharf in Orange Beach for Fireworks & Festivities, and dock there for the night.  We would meet up with other friends, have some pre-game drinks, walk around Wharf, eat some dinner, go back to boat drink some drinks, get our party clothes on, drinks some drinks, walk around Wharf, drink some drinks, watch fire works, drink some drinks, go back to boat drink some drinks, go to sleep, wake up the next morning and cook some breakfast on the boat.

WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED:
Two sailboats of friends left early in the afternoon (2:30 PM to be exact)
Visibility = Poor to None & Condensation = Highly Saturated.
Set out for the Wharf in Orange Beach for Fireworks & Festivities, and to dock there for the night.  THERE WAS NO SAILING...  With the help of GPS and all hands on deck all EYES on deck we watchfully & carefully crept through the fog.  Thinking we surely were the only ones on the water, we were 'SURPRISED" a few times.  Surprised, meaning from out of the fog we came upon many other boaters - lets just say they were really really close when we saw them.  We also saw a towboat that was three barge lengths that missed its channel and was stuck on a sandbar by Ono Island, with the coast guard swarming around (bet somebody lost their job) - I mean it's not like you can just turn one of those things around in a channel of water that is not as wide as you are long.  Shortly thereafter a decision was made to go to Pirate's Cove for a Famous Bushwacker & Cove Burger, and then on to the Wharf.  Great Idea - We All Love Pirate's Cove - spent many a weekend on a sailboat at Pirate's Cove - HECK YEA LET'S GO!!!  Yummy always.  Okay let's head to the Wharf.  OH NO - We Are Socked In.  Absolutely NO Visibility.  Hey - We've been stuck in places we didn't want to be before, but this was not one of those times.
At this point we politely inform the Crew of Pirate's Cove that they are stuck with us for the night.  As disappointed as we could tell they were, they made the best of it.
So here we are, two sailboats of friends docked side-by-side at Pirate's Cove,
Oh, What-To-Do, What-To-Do.
LET'S GET OUR PARTY ON - IT'S NEW YEARS EVE!!!

SO WE CHANGED OUR FORECAST FROM THIS ---->
